Catriona Elisa Magnayon Gray was born  on January 6 1994 Best known as Catriona Gray is an Australian-born Filipino television host, singer, model, stage actress and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Catriona Gray also a Miss Universe Philippines 2018 and Miss World Philippines 2016 and competed in Miss World 2016, placing as a Top 5 finalist.

Catriona Gray was born in Cairns, Queensland to a Scottish-born Australian father, Ian Gray, from Fraserburgh, and a Filipino mother, Normita Ragas Magnayon, from Oas, Albay.

Catriona Gray was studied at Trinity Anglican School in Cairns. Catriona Gray received a certificate in Music Theory from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition, Catriona Gray obtained a Certificate in Outdoor Recreation and a black belt in Choi Kwang-Do martial arts. She also a lead singer of her school's jazz band, and she also starred in local productions of Miss Saigon. After finishing high school in Australia, she then moved to Manila, Philippines where she worked as a commercial model.

Catriona Gray is in a relationship with Filipino-German model Clint Bondad in 2018.
